A simple but delicious almost home-made meal (Renate is both owner and chef!). The space is small and everything is made fresh so reservations are a must. We have come a few times over the years and it always friendly and enjoyable. A recommendation when in Scuol.

Come here if you want excellent burgers! It’s a small restaurant with an interesting history and the food is fantastic- the owners were very friendly too. Lots of different burgers to try (which is the highlight for me), as well as local specialties. This is a refreshingly simple and extremely tasty restaurant. When I’m back in Scuol again, I’m coming here again!

Definitely among the best burgers I've eaten in Switzerland! Nothing pretentious, but so flavoursome that we visited twice during our 3-days stay! I know that the rest of the dishes (mainly the local ones) are really nice as well, but didn't try. Huge plus, the people who own/run the place are really nice. Recommended for everyone!

Easily the best restaurant in Scuol! You can order anything from the menu and each one will have a perfect taste! If you have high standards with the taste and quality of your food, Batta Porta is the restaurant you should choose. Plus the owners are a super cool couple, always positive vibes. San Jon Burger could be one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life, thank you Batta Porta

Fantastic food made by a host that puts emphasis on quality above all else. Very tasty, very authentic. In a town with few choices, this place is amazing. If the town had many, it would still be amazing. I had the capuns and they were head and shoulders above the other attempts at this dish I had at other restaurants in Scuol. Handmade with love and attention, and it shows! Thank you!

Very tasty burgers! (we had a pulled pork & a pulled beef) and they were excellent. Great hosts, super friendly, a family run restaurant :)
